Question is  - ¿ a way to lock the Layer Plane when fly over tool activated ?

 

Is there a way to lock the Layer Plane as "the bottom" - when the Fly Over tool is active

as in - There is NO need to look under the foundation / carpet / floor etcetera (as was a setting in the old Export Quicktime VR that VW/RW once had ...)

 

Suggestions are always appreciated !

My interpretation of your question is that you want the Flyover tool to "stop" at the ground level so that you can't look at the model from a lower vantage point? No, that is not currently possible.

 

The only bit of advice I have is that you can hold Shift while using the Flyover tool, which causes the Z-height of your POV to be locked, and you essentially just orbit around at the same height.

I am still attempting to make in new VW what once was easy with Quicktime VR in older VW

ie: A "3D" file that can be sent to a client with the understanding of what they will be able to see.
