EPS or Image export to photoshop

I am using VW 8.5.2 and often require to export to people who do not have any drawing type program. I want to be able to export eps and then manipulate the file in photoshop, convering it to a small jpeg for instance. I get a lack of memory message in photoshop for any eps file no matter how small (memory, scratch disks etc are all fine). Any image file I try to export opens as mush. I would appreciate any help.

How much built in memory do you have?

What do you have set for the memory allocation settings for VW 8?

You probably need to reduce the memory allocated to VW.

The image export and import process is taken over by QuickTime. If there is not enough memory available for QuickTime to absorb, you can get our of memory errors in VW.

Set the Preferred memory setting fro Vw down to about 75,000. Then try to export the file.

I have a built in memory of 384 MB but 3 partitions.

Virtual memory is switched on

Vector Works is set up with min size of 73728 and preferred of 200000
