As a theatre set designer I often rely on auto hybrid to handle odd 3d shapes. It normally works quite well, but Suddenly, a quite simple shape failed to show section style attributes. Oddly when the the shape Is sliced withe the split tool, the left side suddenly comes out fine?
The object is created from extruding a profile along a path. I have tried to convert to generic solid, no luck.
