Layer Colour override in recipient file

shorter

Question

When we set the colour of a referenced layer it is frustrating when it reverts to the layer colour in the source file.

Can we have layer colour override like class override in the source, and make then independent of each other?

Layer colour, if you were not aware, is great for simple 2D clash detection, when the layer colour overrides the element or class colour.

Quite a lot of coordination still happens and should still happen in 2D, in particular GA to detail.

Yes, and combine it with lowered Layer Opacity it becomes even more powerful.
