Vectorworks 2023 Installation on Mac with Nework server address using with Jamf Policy

Hello All,

 

I am trying to install Vectorworks 2023 in our Mac labs (we use Jamf pro for managing our Macs). I tried to use the following script but after installation I logged on with with any user and Vectorworks couldn't find the serial number ad asked to enter serial number again:

 

/volumes/Vectorworks\ 2023\ Installer.app/Contents/Resources/installer/Install\ Vectorworks2023.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh --mode unattended --unattendedmodeui none --Serial xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx --installdir /Applications/Vectorworks\ 2023 --LDFChoice licenseID

 

sudo mkdir "/Library/Application Support/Reprise"

sudo chmod 777 "/Library/Application Support/Reprise"

 

rm -Rf /private/etc/ECU/pkg/Vectorworks\ 2023\ Installer.app

 

Also, I have to enter the server in the scrip but couldn't find the command.  Also it is asking to download the update after the installation.  

I tried to do snapshot  installations but after the deployment it says files are damaged and can't be launched.

 

Any help highly appreciated.

Hi Ramin, did you get any further with this? I have a similar setup and trying to use JAMF to install VWX.

It seems almost impossible without some sort of manual intervention.
