CMD+~ Tab cycle shortcut not working any more after Ventura 13.1

Adrian ABT

Question

Help,

It has become natural for me to always swap through files in respect to workflow (copy from a working file - pasting to the main etc), System is mac OS Ventura 13.1, VW Spotlight 2021 SP 5. Right after the update for some reason the shortcut CMD + ~ can't be reproduced any more, therefore the CMD key highlights the " ' " character instead of the Tilde. This is very frustrating as the only workaround during the 3 hours I have spent troubleshooting this is another shortcut SHIFT + ~+CMD, which is backwords and skips 2-3 tabs at a time, please Help, someone look into this, otherwise just have some menu bar options in the workspace editor .... Even Reinstalled the software. Nothing works...

and hardly works with this

As per Vectorworks' System Requirements page for Vectorworks 2021, macOS 13 (Ventura) is not supported. If this issue began after upgrading to macOS Ventura then this will almost certainly be the cause. In which case the solution is to upgrade to Vectorworks 2022 or the current release, Vectorworks 2023.
