Path Extrude doesn't work

I am working on a roof structure but the final step does not work. I do not understand why, got the 3d poly but it disappears after trying the path extrude.  I will be very grateful if someone can help me with this

You can't extrude a 3D poly, Only a 2D poly.

How can it be? I'm pretty sure I've done those extrusions before. Anyway, how could I shape that piece of the structure? Please, give me any suggestions.

My mistake, I did not look closely enough at your network and thought you were using the 3DPoly as the profile and not the path. You definitely can (at least through the menu commands) extrude along path using a 3D polygon for the path.

 

I don't know what is happening in your network to prevent the extrude along path node from working.

This networks works for me when the named object is a 3D Polygon.

 

 

Triple check that the path and profile object being created are all valid. If you circle has a diameter of zero or there are multiple identical points on the 3Dpoly I could see it failing.

Thank you very much. by now, I am doing the extrusion through the menu commands, but I will still trying to find the issue in the network
