BenW32056 Posted January 4, 2023 Share Posted January 4, 2023 I am trialing this software to use for my business in building Container Homes. I want to render images of completed Container Home builds and create architectural design, floor plans etc. I have not found a way to insert openings, windows, doors etc into the 40ft container symbol. I have searched a little and someone said that that is not possible to cut openings in a symbol but I need to recreate corrugated walls etc manually with the poly shape. Is this correct or is there a faster way to insert the windows etc without needing to recreate the Container? Many Thanks, Ben Quote Link to comment
TomKen Posted January 4, 2023 Share Posted January 4, 2023 I would use the wall tool and use a texture for the rendering. In the attached images, the wall on the left uses AEC/Wall projections to create the corrugated effect the wall on the right is a plain wall. I sent both walls out to a render program and applied a applied a metal panel texture to the wall on the right. I thing using a texture would be much easier to accomplish what you want. 3 Quote Link to comment
