ErichR
V12 is not rendering using Final Quaiity Renderworks Render Bitmap tool. Using V12 Render Bitmap, A black rectangle is the result. Preferences are set to medium. Resolution set to 72 DPI. Nothing running except VW. Using V11.5.1 (same file exported) Render Bitmap, Renders predictably. Nothing running except VW. Preferences set to medium. Resolution set to 72 DPI Must reslove this. Any thoughts? Mat Caird
Is it a layer linked model that doesn't render? Do the individual layers render? I had this with VW11.5 yesterday, I made a new layer, re layer-linked the model, and it rendered... Mat Quote Link to comment
ErichR
Restarting seems to allow RW to work. Does this mean there is a memory leak? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
If you chose the 3D Rotate Tool & rotate around object or XYZ Center, this forces a screen redraw .. and instant memory/video update ... much easier than doing a restart. Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
I don't like the render bitmap tool at all. Much like rendering a viewport, it seems to take more time than just rendering the current view. If I want to work with the finished render, I'll just screen capture it and go from there. ErichR
If you have a rendered bitmap, you can overlay it with a ConvertCopytoLines drawing, have it in sketch mode, and the result is very much like a traditional hand-drawn rendering. You can do it with a Viewport, but this depends on having the referenced stuff be static, which I don't trust. But if the only way to do it is to abandon the Render Bitmap tool, then Viewport, or screenshot may be the only ways to do it. Quote Link to comment
