LMS1989
@inikolova When using the desktop viewer, are they able to see the point cloud and the model? So far, I can only see the model when using the viewer. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee inikolova Posted January 31 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 31 @LMS1989, I am sorry, I don't think I fully understand your question. Are you asking about viewing of 3D models (.vgx files) in a desktop browser? If yes: You are correct. Unfortunately, point clouds are not supported at this time, as well as any 2D geometry. They are just not being exported by Vectorworks. We hope we would be able to support them in the future. Quote Link to comment
Vitute
Hi, does anyone know, why sun/shadow position is off in VGX file shared in cloud? During export Heliodon tool is on and North position set, but it's totally off in could. I can not find how to fix it. Quote Link to comment
barnaby
I had a look at seeing if it was possible to embed the link to the 3d model in cloud services, into an iframe on a webpage but I just can't get it to work. Would this be an acceptable alternate to share with the client? They'd still have to figure out the controls etc but at least it would appear in a web browser. Quote Link to comment

VGX has its own lighting system; use the settings to adjust the "sun" in your VGX file. I don't think the lighting settings are "sticky" either; they reset for each viewer and each time you view the model I believe improved lighting is high on the list of improvements for VGX files in future releases.
