0 Landartma
What's the path to advanced options I click on updater and it tells me I'm up to date and does not give other options. Quote Link to comment
0 Tom W.
Go to Applications folder > Vectorworks 2022 > Vectorworks 2022 Updater: That is on Mac not sure if Windows is different... Quote Link to comment
0 Landartma
Yea can't find it on PC. I only get the option to uninstall. Its weird I could have sworn there was a feature on the apps menu under vectorworks. Maybe I'll switch to MAC on my next upgrade...VW and PC don't seem to play well together. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
@Landartma In your Vectorworks 2022 folder you should have both the Vectorworks 2023 app and the Vectorworks 2022 Updater app. If you don't have both, then consider renaming your 2022 folder and doing a new clear install and see if you get the Vectorworks Updater then. The above also applied to VW2023, but your signature still says 2022. Quote Link to comment
0 Landartma
I'm still using 2022. I'm going to let 23 mature a bit but that's a topic for another thread. Can I reinstall 2022? Quote Link to comment

On windows the updater.exe is also in the VW Programm Folder, but opposed to Mac it is hidden in an extra Updater Folder. But it works the same. Every now and then VW swears it is up to date and you need to manually launch the Updater App. Usually the updater will need to update itself first and after restart it shows VW Updates again. 0 Landartma
Hey Pat just out of curiosity. Why rename the existing VW folder. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
Rename or Delete the original so that VW truly does a clean install and not a partial overwrite of what is already in the folder. Just an extra Belt and Braces step that may or may not make a difference. Quote Link to comment
0 Landartma
That did the trick. The new install does not have the Vision Library error now. Thanks. So at this point it should be business as usual? Quote Link to comment
