Data Manager : does anybody outside the german-speaking area really USE IT?

I started some troubleshooting posts in here,

however I got no answer. Does anybody really use it?

I imagine, that it's mainly used in european studios, like in BeNeLux, DACh (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and maybe Scandinavia.

 

However, there doesn't seem to be many experts in here, or am I wrong?

The tool seems to be to "new" somehow (also it exists for at least 6 Versions...)

I work in the U.S. as a sole-practitioner architect and I don’t use IFC in my projects (primarily small single-family residential) so I have not used the Data Manager. It looks powerful, and complicated.

Oh looks more complicated than I is.

btw, you can also use it to force VW to attach your own databases to specific objects or objects in specific classes.

Best thing is, when you start with simple tasks!
