Inigo
I'm using Vectorworks 10.5.1. Each floor plan layer i am using renders fine individually. The layer that has multiple layer links and no 2d objects renders blank when using Renderworks. Only the background shows up. Any suggestions. It seems like i'm missing something easy... not sure what i did. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted June 8, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 8, 2005 Hello Inigo: Is the geometry far from the page center, and/or the view zoomed in a lot? There is a limit that shows up when the geometry is far from the center of the page and/or zoomed in a lot. The geometry doesn't render in that case. To workaround this the links can be offset closer to the page. Quote Link to comment
Inigo
Thanks Dave: The view should be fine, as it was rendering fine for weeks. It seems that i switched a setting unknowlingly, but i'm not sure where to look. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Org>Layers> check the 'Z value' elevation offset ( top one). Your Model Layer may have the elevation of Mt. McKinley Quote Link to comment
Inigo
I went through object by object until i found a roof element that was upsetting vectorworks. All systems go! Thanks for your time. Quote Link to comment
