I can get the data into LW but when I export it back into SP 9 it doesn't update any instruments or even place orphans. I am follwoing the directions in the manual and it won't work. kacey1 Posted August 15, 2001 Share Posted August 15, 2001 Some common errors: *Make sure you are exporting the External ID when you export from LightWright. *Make sure when you browse to the file on import to VW, that you associate UID with External ID from the LW file. One question, is there actually different information in the file? Sometimes there is nothing new, so it updates, but since there is nothing new you can't tell. Orphans are also at the bottom left hand of the page, and you have to zoom out past your page boundries to see them.
