Matt Hall
Is there a simple step by step tutorial and or video showing how to make wall components wrap around a window. There are a lot of slick videos showing that there is great control over this now but nothing that breaks it down. It looks simple enough but it but its just not working for me. Im looking for a 3'0" masonry opening with the gyp bd wrapped at the interior head, jamb and a wood sill Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Have not tried yet, but AFAIK you have to check and activate Wall Closure Settings for Window's openings - on both sides - Wall Style and Window Style ! Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
In my (limited) experience it doesn't like it when you try to wrap components on one side on the wall only. And make sure you have a core component selected in your Wall as this affects things too. @Matt Panzer is the best one to help Quote Link to comment

Kevin Allen
I should say the written help files are really excellent, I have not looked for this answer, but the university guides and really lacking. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted October 21, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 21, 2022 This should help if you haven't read it yet: https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2023/eng/VW2023_Guide/Walls/Wall_closure_settings.htm Aside from the Wall closure settings in the Wall, make sure the wall has a core component and the the insert has "Use wall closures" selected in the "Plug-in Object Options", "Plug-in Object Style Options", or "Symbol Options" dialog accordingly. 1 Quote Link to comment
