ola_ola
Hi I was wondering if any one has any tips on texturingg different sides of a solid i.e a cube. it seems you only have this option for wall objects. I need to be able to define color or class before exporting to C4D fr texturing. thanks Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
I believe you will have to cheat by creating an extruded "skin" for the various different surfaces. Unless maybe you could somehow use a very fat wall? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Andrew Bell@NV Posted October 13, 2004 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 13, 2004 You could convert the solid to NURBS and texture each surface individually. If you want some surfaces to have the same texture, add them together and texture that solid. Quote Link to comment
ola_ola
thanks for the tips guys. I tried the nurbs idea, work in renderworks, but the cube defaults back to single texturable object in Cinema 4D after exporting Quote Link to comment
Bart Rammeloo
You have to export it using RenderWorks textures as export criterium. That should work. Quote Link to comment
