Pat Stanford Posted October 5, 2022 Share Posted October 5, 2022 I think you would have to use a version of the Waldo method. Search here for Waldo for more details. Basically, you insert a loci and then get the parent of the loci. Check the type of the Parent. If it is a symbol Definition you are good. If it is a container (group) then get the parent of the parent. Repeat until you get a handle to a symbol definition (what you want) or a layer (meaning you are not editing a symbol). 2 Quote Link to comment
