Change name of fixture modes

Hello, 

 

Is there a way to change to names of fixture modes attached in the lighting device record?

 

At the moment some of the mode names are long form, I'd like to make some of these shorter. Is this possible?

There is no way to change the mode names. The mode names come directly from either the mode required by Vision on the GDTF fixture mode.
For GDTF files you could create a custom GDTF file with a modified mode name but most of these mode names come from manufacturer.

If this is just for documentation purposes only you could create your own custom field for shortened fixture mode name in the Document Preferences - Spotlight Preferences 'Lighting Device Parameters'.
