TMM
The wall sits on the plywood component of the slab, but the outline of the components of the slab behind the wall still come up graphically--attached below. How to get rid of them? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Jeff Prince
Perhaps using separate slabs would help you. One level that supports the walls and a second level that is really more of a floor build up placed in rooms using the walls as boundaries. Quote Link to comment

In fact I use three Slabs: A main structural Slab that spans the entire building. A floor finish slab that sits on top + runs between the Walls (or multiple slabs if there are different floor finishes in the rooms). Separate ceiling slabs that go underneath the structural slab, one inside each of the rooms. Another option which I think @Christiaan pointed out in a separate thread is to use the Clip Tool in Top/Plan to remove individual slab components in the sections where the walls are overlapping the Slab i.e. trace the shape of the Walls as a polygon + in your case @TMM clip the top two slab components. This method however you don't get the option of applying edge offsets to the clipped components so if that kind of detail is required you are better off using separate slabs. Quote Link to comment
