Volume in datatags

Hey,

 

i'm trying to get the weight of some structural members in a datatag but with no succes..

if i could get the volume out of this type of element it would be easy..

 

I now made a worksheetscript that gets the volume of the object and writes it to a record but my datatags will only update if i recalculate the worksheet wich meens if i forget it there's a lot of wrong data on my sheets..

 

is it in possible to get the volume directly in my tag or not cause i'm realy lost at this point..

(working in vectroworks 2021, maybe in later versions this is already possible?)

Hi 

I dont remeber when it was introduced, (maybe v22) in V23 it is possible to use worksheet criteria in data tags

@Hans-Olav Thank you for this! vw23 comes live in Belgium on october 25 so i will upgrade right away!

i had already seen that there are a lot of new features around worksheets and datatags so i was going to swich over anyway but this i didn't know 😄

Yes i'm sure this version of vw has a lot of great new features that will safe a lot of time and manual work!
