I discovered how to do it. However, when i export a file to a pdf the Font that i use is unrecognizable. That brings me a bit off topic perhaps, but do you guys know how to solve that?

Based on the information provided, it’s hard to know.  Install the font to windows correctly.  Reboot your computer.

Create a document in your word processing program using the font in question and save as PDF.  Did it work? If so, the font is installed properly.  If not, it could be your PDF software config.

Once you have things working in your word processor…test in VWX.  Create a new drawing using the font.  Publish to PDF.  Did it work?

You can attach PDFs and VWX files here on the forum and that might help diagnose the problem.

I believe that VW licenses the PDF engine used by Publish and Export PDF from Adobe.

It is very strict about font licenses. I don't think it will include the actual font in the PDF unless in "Knows" that it is properly licensed. That means that you have to have purchased it from Adobe (or another cooperating font house) or be using a font that ships with the operating system. If it is not certain about the ability of the font to be included in the PDF, it converts it to raster.

That could be what is happening to you.

Check the Resolution setting the in the PDF Export Dialog Box (under Options if you are using Publish).

I don't know if Windows includes a PDF driver as part of the printer driver. If so, try that instead of Export and see if it makes a difference. That could tell you more about it being a font problem.
