zero
Hi again So I create a roof using the create roof from poly command. Playing with the textures I see there is an option to texture the roof surface with one texture, and the roof edges with another. But I cannot make the roof edge show any texture at all. Anyone have the key to this? Thanks Mat Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted May 11, 2004 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 11, 2004 Hello zero: One texture is applied to the top surfaces of the roof (like for shingles), and the other is for dormer walls (like brick or siding). Quote Link to comment
Pedro P. Palazzo
Isn't there a way to texture the underside of the roof? I am designing a bungalow without ceilings so I should be able to see the roof tiles in the interior perspective... Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Pedro, Unfortunately there's no way to apply a texture to the underside of a roof. You can, if you want, create an extrude to which you can apply your texture. HTH's BTW, If no ceiling were present wouldn't you see the underside of the roof sheathing (eg: plywood) as opposed to the tiles??? Quote Link to comment
