Hi all, I'm trying to create a worksheet for some seating, each type of seating has its own class/colour and I'd like to show how many seats in each class. Any pointers?

Create a worksheet/database that shows all the seats.

 

Add a column that shows the Class with a formula of =C in a database header row cell.

Add a column with a formula of =Count in a database header row cell.

SUMmarize the Class column from the triangle pull down menu in the database column header cell.

 

That should be all you need to do.

Thanks Pat, I seem to have done it. Used the record format for numbers of seats and seat name and under function used Image which gives me a swatch of the fill colour I used on the seat boundary.
