Henry Finch Posted November 30, 2003 Share Posted November 30, 2003 Floor objects should have 3 texture choices like walls. - A floor texture where you could use carpet or wood for example. - A ceiling texture which would probably be white in most cases. - An edge texture which could be the exterior wall texture. I have always used a narrow wall going around floors to get the right exterior wall texture on the model. When I wanted a floor texture I add a thin 3D object on top of the floor. Floor objects having 3 textures would make modelling faster. sorry if this discussion took place before. I seem to remember it a few years ago. mentalenergy Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 vectordepot has a free 'slab' plugin that does exactly what youre asking for u simply draw a polygon with the slab tool, u set its thickness and z height and it has separate classes for floor, ceiling and edges Quote Link to comment
