Plug-in window rendering

Dean,

Whenever an object that you KNOW is there doesn't seem to show up, the most likely cause is a class that is set to invisible in your current view/sheet. Check to make sure the class called "window-main" (or whatever class the windows- or any part or style attached to the windows - are in) is set to visible in the class matrix.

Hope that helps:-)

Oh and....

Go to the Object Info palette for the PIO in question, click on "Class Settings". In there you'll see that you can assign a "style" to each of two or three different parts of the plug-in.

Glass Style 1 is clear (no fill)

The other styles (style 1-14 or whatever) are user defineable. For example, assign the Jambs and interior trim to "style 1". Now go to the Class matrix and you'll see that a new class called "style 1" has been created. By double clicking on its name in the matrix, a window will open which allows you to set all of its attributes. So set it to be bright red, and click the "use at creation" button. Click Done (or OK). Make sure the class you just defined is set to visible in the matrix. Click done (or OK). Now re-render. You should see bright red windows and trim!
