  1. Hi All, It is a constant frustration that when using viewports on sheets, which in turn show content from reference viewports in the modelspace/design layer, you cannot override the visiblity of the reference viewport. i.e. I have a section referenced in from another file. The reference viewport displays some information which is useful for my working process (room data tags or levels, say), but I want these turned off on the sheet output. Unless I have missed something, there is no way to override the visibility of classes in the sheet viewport; instead you have to turn off information in the design layer (reference) viewport. P.S. If there is already a way to do this, please someone let me know!
  2. I have a number of extrude along paths that are only visible in my sheet layer viewports, and not visible in the design layers. This makes editing them or deleting them impossible. Any ideas?
  3. Hi All, I'm having an issue where the round/arched walls in my building are not displaying a solid fill correctly. In the screen shot below I have three bay windows on the south side (N is up); you'll see the two round walls on the left show an entire circle filled in even though the wall is only narrow arch, and the bay window to the right is showing a white filled ring. Currently the walls are set to "unstyled" but I have had them set to "10" generic" with a simple fill and had the same issue. I have tried re-modeling them as unstyled, styled, and replacing the style. When I first draw the wall it appears correct, it is not until I switch views and come back to my floor plan that the filed circles/rings reappear (which makes me think this is a bug). I did create saved views for my plans but I have navigated to them without using the "saved view' drop down to ensure it is not a weird visibility setting. In the plan it is not a big deal to just give the walls no fill but this causes my 3D views and elevations to not render correctly, any advice is welcomed! I'm running Vectorworks 2020 on a iMac 🙂
  4. Hi all, I'd like to hear from anyone who has or is currently experiencing this issue in any version of Vectorworks. I've had two users report this, one on Mac, one on Windows, both in Vectorworks 2019 SP1: The first user said Sheet Layer Viewports weren't being affected by alterations to their Class visibility settings, but changing Class visibilities in Design Layers turned off those Classes in all Sheet Layer Viewports instead. The second user only described that: In Design Layer > change visibilities of Classes = Those same Classes get turned off in [all] Sheet Layer Viewports. Restarting the computer was confirmed as a remedy by the first user. Is there anyone else experiencing this? And if so can you please reply including: Vectorworks version and Service Pack Platform and operating system. Cheers! Jeremy
  5. Hi, I just upgraded to Vectorworks Architecture 2019, and for some reason when I add a scale bar the numbers don't show up. I tried this in an existing file, mucked around with class & layer visibilities to no avail. I also created a blank file and added a scale bar, and had the same problem there. Is this a 2019 bug? Has anyone else encountered this issue?
