  1. Hi, I have a wall Style made of various components and classes and I assigned it a fire rating value, for example this I would like to be able to highlight every wall's fire rating and obtain something that looks like this I created a custom line style that looks like this. Then I selected the rei properties of the wall styles with data visualization I don't know how to edit attributes to make things show. Editing pen style has no result. I know I could manually draw the lines in viewport annotation but I want it to happen automatically. I also created a custom tile to edit the fill attribute of the wall but the result is not as I expected. Any advice? Thank you in advance Martina
  2. Does VW offer a way to create a hatch of say standard running bond brick that also shows the mortar joint width? I dont want to use a "tile" to create this as i want it to be line work and not a graphic representation of linework. ... (hatching by using "tiles" is pretty awful, btw.) Another question is why oh why is the hatch creation tool in the resource manager so archaic? Why cant i just draw what i want the hatch to look like in that window? Why am i restrained so extensively by being forced to use the convoluted hatch creation "tool?" I feel like im trying to perform a complicated surgery with a baseball bat. Thanks for your help / listening to my rant.
  3. Good morning all, I having a few issues with the tile file. Managed to create my own tile within the resource manager and apply them to a simple object. The first issue is once it is applied, the fill seems to flicker, fade, disappear o only partly show when I zoom in and out of the drawing, both in design layer and sheet layer. Second issue is that when I publish the sheet, the tile fill only partly shows on the PDF (see image attached, you can see the tile file on the left elevation but not on the right section). I have tried rasterizing and lowering the DPI count the PDF when publishing and changing the VWs settings the best compatibility. Im using VW 2018 Architecture, Windows 10 pro 64 bit on a HP 250 G6 Notebook PC. Thank you 209.010-Proposed Bathroom Specification -Princes Sq. .pdf
  4. I'm looking to create a terra cotta tile look, with grass in between the tile. 12x12 tile with 3inch spacing for grass to grow between. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to create this look in 2D?
