This started with VW 2017's tabbed view for open files and still happens in VW 2018. It may be caused by an accidental double click on a tab (pen input here) or a second click if there was a lag when trying to close a file or change between active file. Then it may happen that one of the files jumps out of his tabbed environment and reappears as a second extra window. - the only way to reach or switch between such a File is by Menu > Window > select a file. - The Tool Bars stay with the tabbed files so I have no Tool Bar access for these files. So my Questions : a) Is there any way to bring such a lost file back into the Tabs - other than a VW restart ? b) Is there any setting for palettes, docking or else which can generally prevent that from happening ? I think that is a feature for people using 2 Monitors, Maybe there is a way to block this behavior when having a single Monitor only ?
