  1. The attached pdf shows the issue whereby the sill heights do not form part of the total structural opening height of the window. The behaviour is the same in the window settings, object info and most importantly in the reports & schedules that Vectorworks generates. The composition of the window set to timber makes no difference. Clearly however this is odd behavior as I would expect that structural height should include the sill for all timber, steel or aluminum windows. In-fact it should be the default for all sills unless they are masonry of stone. If we adjust the window height in the settings to counter this the schedules generated are incorrect, in effect making them pretty useless for a contractor to use. For a package that is very advanced in so many ways this is a huge issue when trying to use the package to generate reports. A simple tick box in the sill settings to allow the sill to be part of the height or not is all that is required. I have been told that we could edit the report to display structural height + sill. Whilst this seems to be a workround it will still show the structural opening height in the info box and window settings exclusive of the sill. If you could please look into this. I am looking for a way to resolve it. VW 2020 Window size excludes the sill[1].pdf
