  1. Hi, I use VW but two of my colleagues will be modelling in Sketchup. Are there any tips on workflow? Ie guidelines on how to best export and import? In the past I have found models I've imported in VW from SU to be very fragmented and need a lot of cleaning up. The person I'm working for will model in Sketchup and then ask me to import the model into VW to produce working drawings He'll also want to make changes to the model (in VW) and then also texture and light for rough renders. Then pass the model back into SU Is this possible? or better to just transfer it once from SU to VW. Any tips on how I can save hours remodelling / fixing up the model so it is editable in VW? much thanks, Helen
  2. Hello everyone I am running into a strange issue when sending my model from Vectorworks to Vision. It seems my objects ends at space origin. So everything is at 0;0;0. I would like it to be placed at the position in space, as my Vectorworks drawing. My method of importing is: Export to MVR file from Vectorworks. Import MVR file in Vision. Here is how it looks after import: And how it looks In Vectorworks: My esport settings in Vectorworks is: Import settings in Vision is: Do any of you know what I am missing? Hope you can help! Best from Mathias
  3. Any advice over 'best' file format to use to bring objects (furniture and sanitaryware in this particular case) into VW2017. Of the manufacturers I'd like to use, Revit families are most popular, & skp, and some ifc's. I created some from a manufacturer's 3d dwg's (Morgan furniture), looked perfect but there was something in them that VW just didn't seem to like. Successful methodologies/ hints/ tips for creating good quality VW models from manufacturer's models most effectively (ie. with minimum of re-modelling & time) from other file formats would be appreciated.
