  1. Hi Everyone, I've been working on windows in masonry veneer openings. I ran into, what I believe, is a strange behavior and was wondering if there is an explanation or if this is a bug. I have created my masonry veneer wall with all its components. The wall currently has a height of 0". (I'll take you through the wall style; feel free to pause the video to see the details) I'll insert the window into the wall (0" in height). and it defaults to "Wall-Centerline". At this point the components look correct. I'll change the insertion mode of the window to "Core-Centerline". The window gets repositioned in the wall and everything looks good. Now I change the height of my wall to 10'-0" and all the components change. Some change to red which is what the fill of the object class '*New-Walls Exterior-Main' is set to. but a few of the components are gray. If I switch the insertion point back to "Wall-Centerline" most of the components return to their proper hatches and colors (there are assigned via style classes) but one of the components stays red. If I switch the wall height back to 0" everything goes back to normal. While the wall is still at 0" tall i'll switch the insertion mode back to "Core-Centerline" and the components once again look normal. Change the wall height to 10'-0" and back to half red half gray. That's where the video ends. I started playing around with different wall heights to see where the problem starts and it's right about 4'-10". Playing with the wall heights I also ran into another issue. If I set the wall height between 24" and 38" the window (in plan view changes the sills). I've attached the plan for anyone interested to take a look at. Thank you, Derek Window Insertion Mode.mov Window in Brick Wall.vwx
