Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. First of all, sorry if this is a beginner question — I am new to Braceworks and still learning the correct workflow. My goal is to build a square/box truss structure (I'm using MILOS trusses and corner blocks but it could be any other), then add lighting fixtures or simple loads, place hoists, and generate a weight/load report in Braceworks. At this point, I am fairly sure that my real problem is understanding how to properly connect two pieces in Braceworks, rather than part compatibility itsellf. FINE EXPLANATION: If I use a straight truss with two hoists, the weight calculation works correctly. However, when I add corner blocks to create a square structure, I start getting the errors "Structural elements are not connected" and "The static system is not properly supported." I did some research and found that the trusses and corner blocks must be compatible with each other, so I carefully checked that. I am using compatible MILOS parts, and I also made sure that my corner piece has only two connection points, not more. I also followed the placement method shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yd89gfCGaM&t=1701s However, I could not find the Auto Connect option in VW 2026, and even when placing the elements carefully, I still get the same errors. Also, I cannot make a connection to place one truss above the others and calculate the weight. I tried using the Connection Tool, but it did not work either. I would like to understand: #Is there any specific requirement in Braceworks for connecting corner blocks to straight trusses? #Is there a known limitation when creating a square structure with corner pieces? #Could this be related to support placement rather than part compatibility? #Is there a correct workflow in Vectorworks 2026 for connecting trusses and corners so that the structure is recognized properly for calculation? I am attaching screenshots and a sample file. I currently am working on a project that requires engineering signoff on overall stability, I have a base structure of 3d objects that have material assigned to them as MT Steel. Material specific gravity is not available to put into a field so I can calculate weight. Any help here is greatly appreciated!
