I have a speaker (d&b e5) hanging at 7m, tilt is set to -90 degrees, throwdistance set to 7,5m and the dispersion hatch is not showing up. Changing the tilt angle solves the problem, but only when i go to -83 degrees, from -84 the hatch disappears. Known problem or mine ´cause i am doing something wrong? specs like in my signature

Hi All, We've just made the leap to 2026 and are updating an existing project. We've had problems with the wall layer cut plane in terms of doors and windows, but largely we've fixed them now due to good advice around the forums such as the below threads: However I haven't managed to work this out for curtain walls yet; maybe somebodies already covered it elsewhere but I couldnt find it! can anybody advise please? For instance in the below, I want the door to cut the curtain wall and not display the mullions/ grey fill shown. Thanks in advance!

I came across a memory problem yesterday with vwx 2025. we are working on a bigger museum project. in this project we have to handle about 5000 exhibits. all exhibits are drawn as 2d/3d symbols in an external drawing and they have record information attached that is extracted from external worksheets. we reference these symbols into the project sharing document. what i did was activating about 3500 symbols in the resource manager and selected reference. then i went to lunch because it seems this will take a while .-) after i returned my macbook was completely unresponsive. vectorworks allocated about 217gb of memory! it won´t even restart from the finder menu. after this i referenced only 400-500 symbols in one step and watched the memory allocation in the avtivity monitor. with each step vectorworks allocates more and more memory. saving and closing the files did not release the memory used, i had to quit and restart vectorworks. vectorworks 2026 behaves the same issue. i don´t understand why referencing from one file to another is using that much memory and isn´t that release after the operation is done, and the file was saved and closed. for me that looks like a massive error in memory handling... attached some screenshots to show the memory allocation. working on a macbook pro m1 max, 64gb ram, vwx 2025 / 7, mac os 15.7.2 ram usage after vwx25 start and 2 opened files, each about 500mb in size ram usage after referencing the first pack of symbols ram usage after a couple of more symbols vwx 2026 after startup and one file opened. ram usage after referencing 3500 symbols
