  1. Heyo, I tryed to use parameter and strings wich can be added in the Plugin Manager. But i dont get how to use them in the Python Scripts... The Vectorworks Helpsheet dindt really help to make this clear. Can someone take my dumbness away and tell my how this System works?😅
  2. Hey All, So, I think I know the answer to this, but is it possible to arbitrarily define a plug-in's Parameter ID's? Specfically, I have a bunch of parameters that are essentially processed (added, values set, etc) in a for loop and what hoping to essentially set the first group to 101,201,301 and the second group to 102,202,302, etc so that I can loop through the values using a single for loop with just adding an offset to access the relevant parameter... ...but I'm guessing this isn't possible...or am I wrong? Cheers, -gonda
  3. I'm trying to set parameter visibility in the object info panel. In the old vector script I would retrieve the custom object information as follows: result:= GetCustomObjectInfo(objname,oh,rh,wh); I would then set the visibility of the parameter as follows: SetParameterVisibility(oh,'parametername',FALSE); In python I am trying to accomplish the same thing. I've tried the following: result = vs.GetCustomObjectInfo(objname,oh,rh,wh) and then I attempted to set the visibility as follows: vs.SetParameterVisibility(oh, 'parametername', FALSE) when i run the script I get the following error: NameError: name 'objname' is not defined Does anyone know how to accomplish this using best practice? Thanks, Derek
