  1. I often mirror boom units from one side to the other and am frustrated by the way that half top-hat accessories mirror across - flipping the accessory vertically (image attached) I currently use two versions of this accessory for SR and SL but am looking for a cleaner solution. Can anyone offer an explanation or a solution to this? Many thanks!
  2. Hi, everyone I have two problems with inserting and mirroring symbols with a marionette. When inserting I don't get a Z position. When mirroring, the symbol is shifted in the Y-axis. Is the knot correct? Who can help? thank you Problem.vwx

    Mirror Node

Hey there, as far as I know it isn't possible to mirror a group that contains groups, right? Might there be a other way to handle the problem, for example to ungroup, mirror and than group the group as it was before? Or is a simple 2D mirror operation possible with the "transform2" node? Cheers!
  4. Hi Guys: So, Spotlight 2018, clean install, nothing merged with 2017 (also installed). Macbook Pro 2015. I've created some trusses with some symbols of Tyler GT Truss, grouped them, and then converted to Lighting Positions using Geometry. Whenever I mirror a lighting symbol, I'm getting some additional lines appear as a part of the Trusses. I can't edit the 3D of the Truss to get rid of them, and if I select the lines and delete, the trusses disappear too. If I delete the Truss, and then mirror over the opposite truss, and rename it as the deleted truss, the Lines disappear, and the fixtures remain in the correct 'Position' I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this, is it a Bug, or have I screwed something up? Perhaps the grouping of the truss symbols prior to creating the hanging position is causing some confusion? Many thanks Smiffy
  5. Seems that in VW17, if you mirror a callout while in a rotated top/plan view, the mirror changes shape and position. In VW16, when I mirrored a callout in rotated top/plan the mirror would nehave exactly as if I had mirrored it in top/plan - that is to say, it would be oriented 90 degrees (or whatever angled I had mirrored it to) to the original. The only workaround I found so far is to change to top/plan and then mirror the callout. This results in a callout that is rotated incorrectly, but is at least the same shape. From there you just have to rotated it back to match the original. I did a quick search and didn't come up with any posts about this already, but im surprised nobody has flagged this one yet. I have been able to replicate the bug in new files and on multiple PC and Mac machines.
