  1. Selling North America digital version 2017 Vectorworks Designer license. Procedure: VW authorized agent and original seller has been notified of pending sale and ready for buyer details to transfer ownership for VW registry and access to Upgrade and Service Select etc. Call 1 416 832-1647
  2. Hi, I have just reinstalled VW2016 Landmark on Windows 10/64 after a disk failure. At the end of the installation a GUI popped up prompting me to install tree, plant and surface models. It didn't work first time when I selected install all and when I clicked on the icon in the taskbar it disappeared and I can't see where to open it again Can anyone tell me please, How do I get it back to install the models I need? Thanks
  3. I have only just begun using the irrigtation tools of 2017. I have not been able to rotate irrigation component symbols (i.e. outlet object, valve, system components, etc.) when they are placed on a pipe. I have tried both the rotate tool and entering a rotation value into the rotation input of the OIP and the don't rotate.
  4. I'm a landscape architect looking for landmark, preferably, but also open to fundamentals. VW 2013 would be about as far back as I would consider purchasing right now. As of now, this is what I would safely say, I would offer: 2016 ...$1,900; 2015 ...$1,450; 2014 ...$1,050
  5. The way Landmark is set up means that once I draw a polygon I have to convert it to a landscape area, an irrigation design area, a hydrozone area, and an irrigation drip area. Having all of these different objects works up until the point at which the design starts changing. Then I have to edit the size/shape of each object individually every time the architect changes their design or the planning department asks for a change. This is a huge time waster in my office and incredibly mind numbing work. Can you either link all of the areas so editing the size/shape of one of them edits them all -or- allow one area to contain all of the same information?
  6. My current plant worksheets split the plants out by category (Ferns, Forbs, Graminoides, Shrubs, Trees, Vines). I would like to add a column that indicates the Planting Bed Name. I can add this bed location note within the Plant Settings dialog for the individual plant or mass. How is this accomplished when adding a Landscape Area with the specific plants defined? The plants within the bed show in the worksheet, but not the Bed name. How should the criteria be set up? (I read another post that described adding the name of the landscape area to the data tab on the OIP, and adding a formula of differentiating criteria but got lost on trying that one!)
  7. Is there a way to turn off the irrigation network updates that occur after every modification to any irrigation object? This update bogs down any changes to a crawl and is almost too cumbersome to handle! Is there a way to turn off the updates or like a worksheet, direct the updates when desired?
  8. Hi all, I am now trying to use the built in plant database and plant record system. I have created a lot of plants and everything seems to work well. I have one plant that shows on my planting schedule worksheet under column =('Plant Record'.'Symbol') with the wrong "Symbol", the only place I can see to change it is under the plant ID but when I do that it has no effect. I see no place to change the plant record "symbol". Any ideas? If I select the symbol and look in the object info data tab it shows under plant record (read only) , its the first line but I see no place I can edit that. I understand I can pull the plant ID instead of =('Plant Record'.'Symbol') but want to know why this doesn't work. Thanks.
  9. It is early yet and I am still fiddling with the irrigation tools, but so far...awesome! I did run into one snag. When setting up a drip zone and using a drip control kit with a pressure reducing filter, the calculations for the zone don't seem to account for pressure regulation, just pressure reduction. For example, traditionally my input pressure is 65 psi, but the zone kit would reduce that to an output pressure of 40 psi, no matter the input. In the software, it seems to work that the input pressure gets reduced by 40psi, leaving an output pressure of 25 psi in this example. Not what you want to ensure your calcs come out right. Any ideas?
  10. When using the Landscape Area tool I want to add plants to the Plant Information list (i.e. the plant mix) from my own plant .vwx file via the 'Edit Plant Information' pop up. At the moment I'm having to drag them in through the resource browser which is a bit of a slow process. Is there a way to add my plant .vwx file to the 'Edit Plant Information' pop up? Apologies if there is an existing answer to this - I have had a search but couldn't find anything.
