Hi Everyone, I created a network to generate a set of hybrid symbols from a worksheet using VW 2020/2021. They are basic representations of framed paintings to be hung on a wall (exhibition design) with a 2D "footprint" defined by a width and depth column and 3D geometry of a frame and extruded plane representing the image. I'm a little confused about how to define the 2D vs 3D geometry with Marionette in VW 2022 now that the screen plane has been deprecated. Does anyone know what node I need to use to define geometry that should live in the 2D component rather than everything ending up in the 3D component? Thanks! -Chris

Hi everyone, I've been dipping my toe into using Vectorworks resource library 3D objects to populate bathrooms to create room elevations. I've found a sink that is a close enough match to what we intend to use on site, but it is available in multiple sizes IRL and only available as one size in the VW library. I've therefore duplicated the resource, and edited the scale of the duplicate through the Edit 3D Component menu. However, in the interior elevation viewports the sink remains the same size. Am I missing a step? Is there a way to associate new elevations of a 3D object in a similar way to editing the 2D component in a 2D/3D hybrid symbol? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Note: I'm running 2021 Architect SP3.1 -
Generate 2D from 3D Component not producing enough lines

I'm having trouble generating sufficient 2D from some objects. When I try to generate a top plan from the attached bath object I only get an outline and the drain hole. It's not generating lines for the inner top edge nor the bottom of the bath. Is there a way to control the smoothing? example.vwx
