  1. I’m carrying out a pre-issue check of the vwx to ifc file in Solibri and have come across the error shown below. Exported geometries on a number of objects (not restricted to stairs) are exporting incorrectly. This hasn't happened in any previous ifc exports of this file and I’m at a loss as to why it should start now. VWX's ridiculous ifc export times isn't helping matters. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks
  2. Even if the Curved Geometry is set to 'Very High' some of the curved elements come out shattered when rendered with Renderworks. As you can see, at the revolving door (modeled not plugin) or the street light outside (imported from sketchup). It shows perfectly fine in the Open GL (also attached) mode or in the hidden line. Any ideas on what might be the problem? I can send over the file if needed... Thanks!
  3. Hello All Apologies if this is in the wrong section/wrong title/spoken about beore - Admins please move if necessary I am sure theres another thread on this but I wanted to cast out the question of Geometry calculations. I am in the process of building 3 new machines for my office as we are seeing serious lag on current systems. I have narrowed the problem down to the geometry calculations when changing views in wireframe. Especially between 2d plan and 3d. Work in the events industry and we use Spotlight. Drawings can be upto 500mb of conference spaces. Lots of duplicates of the same object at times like chairs/tables. I know in previous versions Geometry calc is a single thread process but has this been changed in 2018? looking at CPU measures it very much looks like it is still a single thread process. VW maxes out at 25% cpu, comes up not responding and locks up when performing this task. Literally flatlines at 25% and wont go higher for this operation. Can anyone tell me of any setup adjustments/options I can change to help this. Currently running v2018 with SP4 Feel free to ask me any more info you need on our hardware etc and thanks in advance for any help
  4. Today I have been having an issue with 3D geometry disappearing. IE: When I'm looking at it in Top/Plan it is there, but randomly when viewing it in lets say Front Isometric it is selectable but invisible. I cannot see anything on screen. Im wondering if its a corrupt file or if its an issues others have had or have found a solution to. (Working in Spotlight 2017) Thanks!
