  1. Hey all, This may be a weird one and I hope I can explain it well. I've attached a drawing of the theatre I'm working on with an "X" where I'd like the internal origin to be and where I'd like the drawing to center to when I tell it to center on the internal origin. As far as I can tell, the drawing centers to the internal origin at the center of the drawing itself, not to a random point, but I could also be wrong. I've spent too many hours trying to find an answer, and I have tried setting a user origin where I'd like it and telling the User and the internal to be the same, but it didn't seem to work. I've tried just manually putting it where I want it, but that hasn't proven to be exact enough for my boss. Basically, if there's anything to be done to set the drawing to center on the internal origin any point that doesn't seem to be the center of the drawing that would be awesome, and I hope this all made sense. Thank you all, you're all amazing and I hope to one day have the level of VW skill the rest of you do!
  2. If I create a cut through a viewport (I don't know the English term for this) I can select to use a drawing label. This drawing label is not how I want it to be, so every time I have to adjust it. Now I've made a symbol of the drawing label the way I wan't it to be. And place this in my viewports. But is there a way to place the drawing label automatically the way I want it to?
  3. Another one that seems obvious to me. The polyline tool is great for getting really specific lines and calculations. However, coming from other applications I've found getting used to how it functions to be a little slower than I'd like. Especially if I just want to keep drawing without switching modes. Would be great to have a more traditional pen tool as an option. Simply drawing, point by point (like the polygon tool), but having the ability to add bezier handles. Similar to Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and many many other creative applications' pen tools. Seems to me it's a tool that functions somewhere between the freehand and the polyline tool. A lot of reasons this would be useful... Here's a roundup of just a few times this exact feature (or one very similar) has been requested:
  4. Hi All, I was just wondering if anybody knows of any 'advanced' Stacking Order tools? We have a complex 2D elevation of a multi-tiered auditorium I'm currently working on. Sometimes new geometry needs to be in a specific place in stacking order to display correctly, but there can be a huge number of them (lets say 5-50 'stacking' layers?). If I need something to stack at say, 25 out of 50, this is quite time consuming! This may end up being one for the wishlist, but I'm imagining a tool which allows you to move the stacking order of an object to match another object (i.e. just in front or just behind) Does anything like this currently exist? Thanks, A
