Currently, when you connect a cable to a breakout (distributor object), it snaps to the insertion point of that object as seen below: It would be great if you could define snapping points per circuit, which would make cable plans much more legible, as shown in this image: To do this, I had to break the connection between the cable and distributor, which is obviously not ideal. If the cable attaches to the distributor, you cannot move its anchor off of the distributors insertion point. Another really useful feature would be two fields to choose a primary and secondary color code for the breakout. So instead of the grey/orange you see in the images above, which are static per breakout type, I would love for those colors to be dynamic so they can match the color codes of the soca heads. Currently to do that I would have to make a new distributor object type for every breakout.

I have a main venue file (with all the power and distribution) plus several referenced files for smaller areas. Think main hall of a trade show with showy entrance zone, press conference, large exhibits etc. Because reasons, the project has to be done this way. The smaller areas have lights, truss, stage boxes and cables from stage boxes to lights. My question is, is it possible to directly connect a cable between a distro in THIS drawing to a distro/light/whatever in a referenced drawing? If not, what's the most efficient workflow to do so? Thank you.

Has anyone worked out away to have a rack mount distro take feeder in and send Soca/7 or Double hubble out to motors in the same way as sending Power out to lights from a dimmer rack?
