  1. I'm trying to translate a older electrical plan to Vectorworks to try it out and I have created multiple receptacles with a panel. I can connect two duplex receptacles together with a home run to the panel, but I cannot seem to connect 3 or 4 receptacles to the same circuit with a home run. What am I doing wrong here? I have tried adding one, then editing the existing circuit to add a third receptacle. It just replaces the original and connects the new one to the existing one, while removing the other. I can daisy chain them together, add all to the same circuit, but all have home runs, which is not right. In the help page, it indicates you can click on one receptacle, assign a circuit to a panel, which is what I see when I click on the first one. Then it indicates you can click multiple receptacles, daisy chaining them all until you opt to do a final home run. Every one I select after the first only asks me to add a home run. Clicking no, does not link them. Picture below shows 3 receptacles with 2 home runs on the same circuit. Only the middle one should be the home run where the others should be linked on same circuit. How it should look
  2. Hi again, Finding my way around ConnectCAD a little more comfortably. Q: When connecting two sockets using the arrow connector type OR when connecting two sockets across two layers. Is it possible to customise what the circuit label displays? It would be particularly handy for example if the label said the destination room or rack. When a circuit crosses between two layers, displaying the layer names is not particularly helpful (especially if they are simply called schematic 1 and schematic 2). I suppose I could change the devices to be more descriptive of the location, but would prefer to automate it through the location: room or even rack properties. Example of all the variants I have come across so far, attached. Note: Show all layers is on, so you can see all three layers clearly. Thanks as always, R
  3. Hi VW folks, I've been trying to get some multi circuit fixture, specifically 4 cell CYC flood units, onto my plot. Fully understand that to create multi circuit fixtures they should only contain symbols and maybe a locus point if necessary. So I manage to create that and even the alpha numbering works fine. Dragging one component of the multi circuit fixture causes the rest to move with the same displacement. So it essentially behaves as a multi circuit fixture should. However, when I bring up the build list on Instrument Summary, the multi circuit fixture appear only under the "unused fixtures" window while it's individual components are under the "used fixtures". I can only get counts for the individual parts. What gives? Recently upgraded from VW2011 to VW2017. Gabriel
