I am doing a residential design with a small annex referenced in. The same wall style is used in both files (the referenced file and the master file).
Each time that I open the master file, or update the referenced file from the master file, I get the message shown.
Can anyone please enlighten me as to the cause of this message and what I can do to fix it?
Thank you.

Pat:
The if function still works, but I got the SQ. M. column to also work by using =D4*0.0929 as the formula. Thanks a lot for the quick response.

That worked beautifully! The only problem is that in the SQ. M. column, I cannot multiply the result (the empty cell) by a number (0.0929), as shown in the database header in the image. I keep getting #VALUE! as the result, instead of an empty cell.
This also messes with the end total, with it also giving the result as #VALUE!.

Is it possible to add a filter to the database header so that a column only shows the values for the objects that have the required field value attached to it?
For example, I used the formula =('Space'.'Area') which listed the net area for ALL the spaces in the file. I want all the spaces to be listed. However, in a particular column, I only want to show the values for the spaces that have the field value Enclosed Liv in the attached record Space Schedule as Yes. So I tried the formula =('Space'.'Area') & ('Space Schedule'.'Enclosed Liv'='Yes') but it only gave either True or False as the result, instead of the numerical value for the net area.
I am looking for a result similar to the image shown.

I found out how to make the section line instances show on sheet layers through these posts:
Section Line Instances on Sheet Layers
In addition, I found I lose the attributes of my section line markers only when I click the 'activate section viewport' button.

Yes, you are definitely correct! I am having the same issue with getting the section viewport markers I created on a design layer to show in the viewports. They just will not show.
However, I do not have the problem with the markers losing their attributes once moved or adjusted.

Try to use the hidden line render mode instead of the wireframe. The trim should disappear.

Thanks alot. That works. However, how can I get the "selected objects mode" to include dimensions for objects in the wall, namely doors or windows? I cannot seem to get it to work as chain dimensions. Can this be done?

Hey:
I am trying to generate rafters and wall plates from an existing gable roof. However, when using the 'roof framer tool', the tool keeps placing the wall plates on the inside of the building.

Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to dimension an object and make it associative without having to click the end points of the object? Can the object itself be selected and then the dimensions automatically generated?
The problem I have is that when I zoom in to accurately select the correct points to dimension (using the constrained chain mode) they end up not being associative. However, when I dimension with the entire object being visible they are visible only sometimes.
Thanks in advance!

The building model in the file "Building Model.vwx" is, in fact, composed entirely of design layer viewports that reference external files in the "Level_Plans" sub folder.
I know. I designed it and modeled it myself.
Hey Jeffrey:
I figured you would be the best person to ask this question: How would you create associative dimensions and annotations on sheets in the Building Model.vwx file?

Found and deleted the resource from the Master File. I no longer get the messages. Strangely enough, the resource was listed under 'sketch styles' in the resource browser.
Thank you.
