I need to make a list of doors/windows, and I've been using the following method:
- creating a door/window record, with all the field I want;
- creating a door/window symbol, and attaching the record to it;
- creating a report listing all the symbols with my custom door/window record.
All this work is costing me a lot of time, and it bugs me to do it this way since there is the "VA create schedule" command, and I could do it simply using the door tool.
My problem is: I can't find a way to summarize items with the same field value (like "all with the same ID label"), which is required for my work. I've tried adding the "sum" to a schedule column, but then it adds up all fields, which is not my desire.
Is there any way to do it like in the record report, but using the "VA create schedule" command?
