  1. Thank you to everyone for suggestions. We find out this solution: - turn anti aliasing on - export a pdf, tuning grey tone for frozen sheets up to 100% instead of default 69% (since we don't use to print frozen items it doesn't matter). - than print pdf file. It works. It seems to be complicated, but actually, on average prints from quite big drawings, it works much, much faster than direct way. I am speaking of few minutes instead of 30 - 45 minutes.
  2. - VW 2008 sp3 - plotter HP 800 ps turned to higher print quality - printer Konica Minolta magic color 2450 (A4 size) This morning I just downloaded driver upgrade for HP 800 ps hoping that helps improving poor printing quality. It didn't help. Troubles seems are here to stay. i.e.: anti aliasing OFF: pixeling look like commodore 64, curved lines much similar to stairs. anti aliasing ON: some improvement, but appears kind of "faded zones", areas in the output where colors are paler than surrounding. In general, everything is quite blur. Both results are pretty bad. With Minolta printer things go much better, you get sharper lines and no pixeling effect. Have to say that with anti aliasing ON even with this device you got "faded zones". It's no such a big problem, since even with anti aliasing turned OFF you got a decent result. Anyone have experienced the same troubles? Any suggestions?
  3. It works... until you have to print. Once there, poor performances of old HP driver makes unacceptable result. Solution - so far - is to turn Anti aliasing on when drawing, turn it off when printing... we can bear it Hope that italian version of SP3 will solve completely the problem; hope also in upgrading of HP driver, that should happen very soon.
  4. Quartz and Anti-aliasing now turned on (both were turned off by default) It seems to do work much better! I'm still not sure 100%, since the problem was quite unpredictable: now just do some job (tomorrow, here is 6 p.m.) and I'll be sure that is definitly over Thanks a lot!
  5. (The square pillars match with the window bank, despite they look evidently not aligned - once you zoom very in, everything goes correct) SP3 not yet available in Italian, it should come very soon, according to official Nemetschek site, which says it exists, but you actually still don't find it in download list. Ray, thank you for reply!
  6. Hi! Just installed VW 2008 on Mac running OS X 10.5.3 There's a viewing problem: objects that actually match look apparently distant, not aligned, I mean non matching. So, it seems there is an error, but after a simple deep zooming you find out that the drawing is ok. Also printing is ok. It's quite unconfortable, since you never know whether you did a mistake, or it's up to this viewing problem. You have to zoom frequently to understand it. A big loss of time.
