    Hi @bpsabatier, I too had this delay on opening if files [any files] that started at some point during VW2023 usage. It was extremely annoying to sit watch and wait.... For me, the issue to resolve itself with installing VW2024 though I have no idea why that would be the case. Unfortunately no fix from me, perhaps some fine VW user does have a fix for you.

    Hi @Bruce Kieffer , Using 2024 and I have had my acquisition points randomly disappear, perhaps since Update 3. I have toggled the above mentioned settings and the acquisition points have since returned though not sure if from settings or restarting VW. I have Not reset Prefs as mentioned by @Pat Stanford though I might do that later on. Annoying to say the least.

    Everything just popped back after selecting another drawings RM View options. So I guess I am set..

    Hi all, hope to find the issue quickly. After updating to Sonoma on Friday, I find the RM is empty of everything, except folders. I did run the Repair function, but no fix. Thoughts?

    Hi @H.Tomi, If I have understood your question above, I had successfully used WV 2015 Designer with High Sierra [on and Intel Machine]. It has been a while since but it did work for me. MK

    Hi more VW knowledgeable users than I, Any change that Crop Lines and be edited in term of their Attributes? I want dashed lines instead of solid. Thank you either way. M

    Ha, @Jesse Cogswell beat me to it. Hi @Mdixon3, my apologies if I am way off here, but are you trying to edit a Plug-in [in your case, picking a standard VW projector]?

    Hi @cglow I have this very same issue, where a Save and VW restart brings all back to normal. Due to my other issues, I might try to reinstall and or rebuild my mildly customized Workspace[s]. Perhaps others have this issue happening or have a potential fix in mind?

    @tekbench If I read your initial post correctly that some Plugins, or symbols in general, seem to have that option [in Resource Browser>right click on the Symbol desired>Edit 3D Options and then look at the 'Story Aware' checkbox] enabled by default. Of course the proper visible Class helps too.

    Hello, have a Q for anyone who can help. After opening VW program, upon opening up this Master file, it hangs [for a good minute] on Step 6 0f 11:Resetting Text and Dimensions. I use this file as a sort of Template and with any subsequent files having the same issue. Any thoughts on where I might look into this? Thanks

    Hi @Minna, This may not apply to you so am tossing this out there. Since my SP3 update with VW2023, upon Application startup that the Resource Palette does not always show up at all [Hey Pat, I have looked everywhere on my screens to no avail]. I now need to Un-check the Resource Palette and the Re-check it so that it appears as I have saved it. Might be a bug, have not gone further with this issue yet. M

    Thanks @Benson Shawfor your response. Nothing within the file itself had changed though I had upgraded to SP2 recently.. That said, I will get to posting a file as soon as possible for your review into this specific challenge. Thank you again.

    Hi Forum, I had created a 3D Fire Hose Cabinet symbol. In Monterey, inserting into wall worked like a charm. Since Ventura though, a chosen wall highlights when placing symbol but no insertion happens. I checked doors and windows, they insert as expected. Does anyone have some ideas that I can look into? Thank. you

    Oops, I need stronger eye correction..thanks for the clarification and tips @Pat Stanford. For context, I was copying text from outside VW and then posting into the Save As dialogue box. This stopped working for me since 2021, but have learned to live with it.

    @VaughnS, I have had this issue since VW2021, kinda gave up on it..For me, VW 2023 has the same issue. Now, as I can Copy Paste into Title Blocks etc, I wonder if its an OS/ Finder issue between VW and the OS. @Pat Stanford, Thank you, though I may not understand your suggestion. My issue: Open a Show file template>Save As>cannot paste into the file name field and so must be manually typed in. Any ideas are most welcome.

    Hi Forum, I have a query. I open new VW file. I save as, dialog box opens as expected. I copy text from anywhere on my IMac. I cannot paste, am given a Mac OS Beep. I use 2022 and 2021. I am forced to to type in full file label. Title block Copy Paste work as expected. Am I missing a setting, either in VW or the Mac OS Thank you

    This is very educational for me, thank you to all contributors. For me, this "reversal" seemed to happen a SP or two ago where a Rotate 45 caused a Counter-Clockwise rotation. While I figured it was a bug, I know know why this happens and have since gotten used to it. Thanks again.

    Oops, just found out how to do it. It is remapping the Snap Loupe to something other than the Z key.

    Hi Forum, I have become Left handed over the last few years [Right hand not working great]. I am looking to remap the Z [Zoom] key to something on the other end of keyboard. Is this doable? Thank you

    Hi Lee, I do not think you can Force Quit one of multiple open files. For me, I hit the esc key to stop any render in process and then close the offending file. Other users may have a better option. Regards

    Glad it is working for you now @BenJ, and based on my own challenges [read confusion] I do suspect that View menu setting overrides the Nav Pallet in some cases.
