  1. Similar issue with a more powerful machine (brand new Mac Pro) running Leopard. Crashes on simple tools like Move by Points, Mirror, tugging Keynotes. Had six total crashes today.
  2. kneightx, thanks for the note on changing workspace before unplugging. I had attempted to use the workspace solution but it was not working because I switched after unplugging.
  3. I use VW 2008 on a Macbook Pro (OS X Tiger). At the office I connect to a second monitor on which I display VectorWorks. When I disconnect the screen, VW returns to my Macbook Pro screen, but I cannot find the Basic Tools Pallet. It is active, but it does not appear on my screen.
  4. You are looking at a viewport on a sheet layer. The grid bubbles are on a design layer, the 90'-0" dimension near the #3 grid line is in the viewport's annotations.
  5. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Also, I cannot change the length of the grid lines.
  6. I used the grid bubble tool in a design layer to create the building grid. I later added overall dimensions in the viewport annotations, the viewport being on the sheet layer. The vertical dimensions of the grid bubble tool and the regular dimension tool orient in two different directions. How can I correct this? (VW 2008 for Mac)
  7. Thanks for the note. More annoying than the palettes not appearing correctly is that the window activation does not seem to work correctly. This is what lead to the loss of work. I will check the Apple boards.
  8. There is an issue in OS X leopard using spaces. Issue: I am in one of the spaces VW2008 is not assigned to. VW2008 is open in another space. When I double-click a file in the finder window the space containing VW2008 is brought up, but VW2008 is only partially in the foreground. To get VW2008 to the foreground I have to click outside of VW and then into VW. The same happens when I switch to VW using the Command-Tab function or click on the VW icon in the dock from another space. This does not happen when I switch spaces using the spaces overview window. This small inconvenience has caused me to accidentally close a file that I had not yet save leading to loss of work.
