  1. I changed the text scale in the viewport, because the viewport is an enlarged plan. The size of the text changes just fine. But the space between the rows of text did not change accordingly. So in the viewport, which is 3 times larger than the design layer that the space is in, the text is .33. But now I have these huge gaps between the room name and the room number below it.
  2. When I use the labels created by Spaces in different scaled viewports, the spacing between the text gets all messed up. Any fixes or workarounds.
  3. So I just discovered that if I use top view or any 3-d view, I can edit the objects. It is only in 2-d view that nothing is editable. Also, I double clicked on an extruded object, and I could edit that. Thanks for any ideas!
  4. As of yesterday, I started receiving the message that objects have no edit behavior. I have checked all the preference settings, rebooted, updated to latest patch, no luck. I am still on 2009, latest updates, and hoping to make it last a little longer. Mac Power PC G5
  5. I don't understand how that helps. I have a stair with several landings. So the stringer has to turn as it rises.
  6. I am trying to extrude a channel shape along a path that represents a stair stringer. I cannot get the final output to be perpendicular to the ground plane. The channel always want to extrude at an angle.
  7. I figured out how to orient the text. I have to flip it, or keep it horizontal, via the OIP in the design layer. Any thoughts on copying room finishes appreciated.
  8. I am really struggling with the ID tool and the room finish schedule. Any help/insight is appreciated. 1. Since one cannot-unbelievably-place an ID tool in a viewport notation layer, one must place them on a design layer. My design layer is oriented differently than my viewport layer. The id tags do not read properly when flipped in the VP. This makes a mess out of my partition types, made with the id tool, and room names, made with the space tool. Is there some way to set the direction of the text specifically in the VP? 2. This may be a bug, but when you edit the room finish schedule to add a new finish, you loose the previously selected finish options, and have to start over. 3. The eyedropper tool has an option to pick up record data, but when I select a space with room finish data, it does not drop on the space I am trying to copy it to. Is there some easy way to copy room finish info from one space to another? Thanks David
