VW 10.0.0
A WORD, A SENTENCE. A SINGLE NUMBER.
SEEMS COMPLETELY RANDOM.
BUT WHEN I MOVE IT TO A DIFFERENT LAYER, IT FIXES.
AND I JUST WATCHED A BUNCH OF WORDS FLIPPING WHEN I CHANGED THE ORIENTATION ON PAGE-SETUP.(!!) SO LAYERS AND ORIENTATION SEEM TO AFFECT SOME.
WHEW.

WORKING W/ VW 10. MAC. HELVETICA.
10% OF MY FONTS PRINT OUT LITERALLY SIDEWAYS.
I REPLACE, RESIZE, COPY FROM GOOD ONES, AND REYTPE, MOVE THEM AROUND, NOTHING WORKS.
I CAN FIND NO PATTERN HERE. HAPPENS LESS W/ A PDF THEN STRAIGHT TO MY HOME PRINTER.
A HUGE PROBLEM THIS IS- PLEASE ADVISE ANYONE!

"OpenDWG Library Error 8:
This DWG version is not supported."
I get this error message w/ alot of my attempted imports.
Is it due to using this older Version 10.0.0?
Can someone help me get around this?

what if I convert the PDF to EPS in Illustrator?

good question.
It just says"Vectorworks 10" (10.0.0)
My Mac is running OS X, version 10.4.11
It will not drag and drop....and there is no import for PDFs.

A VW document was sent to me.
It does not drop into my VW desktop.
When I'm asked for what app to use to open it, VW does not appear as a choice.
Cannot open and import it, either.
How do I open it?

VW 10. I'm trying to draw a double line, both straight and curved.....to be a section thru a window showing the thin cavity. Rather than drawing an offset all the time.
The double polygon tool does alot, but I need to join the cavities together sometimes; to intersect, leaving an open break. And how to draw curves w/ the polygon tool?
Use the wall tool?

I am returning to VW after learning it a few years back. Will be upgrading. Since I have done so little work in VW, I have few projects to copy details from; most work is created whole. Question- is there a resource for the VW community to share work? Paid or unpaid. Does anyone have a sense of the legitimacy/quality/security of the work? Thx
