Thanks Peter and Pat for your help. If I draw a rectangle and extrude it, I can rotate the object in a front view and that would be acceptable for elevations and cross sections. However, I can not use other views such as an Isometric perspective. I think that I need to be able to rotate relative to the ground plane? What I would like to be able to do is rotate the extruded rectangle in place in an isometric perspective. Is this possible?

I would like to produce a 3D model with elements that have surface planes at varying angles. For example: How do I depict a surface plane, say a slab surface at a 10 degree angle relative to an horizontal plane? I have tried using the rotate 3D tool but I am doing something wrong! Thanks.

I am working on a landscape project with multiple levels and slopeing terrain. I need to have a 3D model showing the levels created for patios etc. I used the site modify tool and created pads with indicated slopes. However, when place the hardscapes the slope is not taken into consideratin and are at a 0 slope. How can hardscapes be shown in 3d at the correct slope? Thanks.

Thank yo very much for response. I am not sure what you mean by PIO? I have been able to edit TB's as required. However, I have several versions under My Custom Title Block symbos folder which is complicating the issue. In the past I had several temporary versions used for different purposes. I now have a version which I prefer and would like to delete versions which have errors of are no longer of any use to me. Can the old TB defaults be deleted? Thanks.

Can I delete a default symbol such as a custom title block from the Libraires\Default\Drawing Border-Title Block folder? I cannot delete obsolete Title block symbols? Thanks.

I am working on a project with exterior landings at entances to a residence. I would like to access the landing from three sides. I want to create steps using the stairs tool However, I have not been able to create the u shape steps to the landing without additional set of stairs. What am I doing wrong? Or should I be creating the steps using another method? If I use the stairs tool and create steps on all three sides,using straight stairs, the stairs overlap and I cannot connect them at the necessary 45 degree angle. I wanted to use the stairs tool since I am producing a 3D model of the plan. Thanks.

I have created a plant list for a project. I would like to use the worksheet for other purposes, ie. email etc to nurseries or other service providers. Is ist possible to copy, forward export a copy of the worksheet to a file or other users with out forwarding the entire file? Thanks.

I am working on a project where I have 3 design layers, a site plan, grade plan and planting plan. I cannot label the sheet numbers properly and would appear to have information which I cannot edit. When I use the object pallete and change or blank out information such as a title of date in the edit mode, old information remains. It would appear to have a link to old information.
