  1. i'm sorry, you need to link text to record that is when you could select the two areas. I am assuming you are creating a TB from scratch. I will play with this though and get back to you.
  2. If you are using this as a DTM you could select "edit DTM" i believe and draw a rectangle where you would like the crop.
  3. how bout the "exit *****" button in the upper right corner of the window? Does yours show?
  4. A gutter tool would be great. Even for a Landscape Designer with that infamous stormwater management and water reuse, environmental thing going on. No, seriously it would be great to document and design where to place and then be able to run drain products from there.
  5. if your in a rush, place on design layer, edit it then use viewport to resize.
  6. Oh yes! not often referred to in my local area. Thanks
  7. They look great but stick with a good old mouse! just my opinion.
  8. side note. You mention OS what does that stand for. here in the US its Operating System, but I gather it refers to something else. just curious.
  9. check with Jonathan Pickup, he has great training vids and books and I believe I saw that he covered this issue. Also try VW help and the PDF book. they can walk you through this. Also I just noticed your from the UK, Tamsin Slater is a fantastic trainer in your area(over the pond that is).
  10. Compose your shapes, then clip the shapes from one giant underlying shape ---say Turf. now you will have your different areas.
  11. Yes Horst, the triangle tool is great, especially like Tamsin suggested.
  12. The problem I have always had with this, is unchecking the box does not delete the green line . You have to manually delete it. I do not use them much but they can be handy.
  13. It would be nice though to click on a joist and select 2,3,4 .
  14. works fine here also. like Bruce suggested, try a restart.
  15. what else might you be looking for? PS. change the measurement type in the OIP
  16. You can change to sq. meters, or if you are imp. Acres and sq. ft
  17. Interesting! Ozzie, I understand what you are saying and I also have many versions of VW installed for this very reason. However gbland has a point why is this so. For a larger firms this is a nightmare. With possibly hundreds of files from year to year, upgrades and logistics could be a nightmare. If VW wants us to upgrade yearly then old files should be able to work as we upgrade. Its' all supposed to help us work faster not add more work or issues to the problem.
  18. try setting the Dimensions class to your desired look and feel.
  19. Christiaan, took me about a month also to get SS hope yours comes soon.
  20. Heres one, I recently signed up for SS and now I can not sign in, said my name or code was wrong, has any one else had this issue at the beginning.
